PRICE: Price is as advertised. Deposit can be paid by credit card, Paypal, electronic check and wire bank transfer.
TRANSPORTATION: Via jet economy class. Tickets must be purchased 45 days after the booking date, and cannot be changed once issued.
DEVIATIONS/STOPOVERS: An individual change in the return date, that is a deviation from the basic group itinerary, can be done. However, the airline imposes a fee for those additional changes.
HOTELS: Prices are based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with a private bath. Single rooms are subject to availability, for an additional cost. If a passenger cannot supply a roommate, and Good Shepherd Tours cannot find a suitable roommate OR your roommate cancels before departure, the passenger will have to pay the supplemental charge. You may be billed after the final payment date for single room accommodations as necessary.
MEALS: Two meals, daily, upon arrival in Israel on "half board" (breakfast and dinner at hotels, buffet style). Lunch meals may be arranged in advance with an extra charge.
SIGHTSEEING: Local transportation is by a deluxe, air-conditioned
motor coach. The services of an English-speaking guide, as well as entrance
fees to places that are visited that are described in this itinerary,
are included in the tour price.
Note:
- You should be physically able to walk, get on and off the bus, and walk around without the assistance of another individual. If you are unable to do so, you must bring someone to assist you, at your own expense.
- The daily itinerary is subject to adjustment at the discretion of the tour operator or its representatives in Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Rome and Athens.
NOT INCLUDED: Passport costs and trip tips (unless stated otherwise
in tour brochure). Food and beverages (including coffee and tea) are usually
included with regular meals, but other beverages (i.e. alcohol or any
special beverage) is not included. Optional tours and excursions not mentioned
in this itinerary, accident and baggage insurance, transporting and handling
excess luggage, personal tips to guides, drivers and others rendering special
services. In the event it becomes necessary to overnight material, due to
late receipt of registration or final payments, traveler will be billed for
these charges.
Trip tips, airport departure taxes and/or fuel surcharges will not be included on final invoice.
Any quotes of airport taxes and/or fuel surcharges are only based on good faith
estimates. Airport departure taxes and/or fuel surcharges are subject to change
up to the time that tickets are issued. Actual airport taxes and/or fuel
surcharges that are billed to passengers will depend upon actual charges to
Good Shepherd Tours by the taxing entity.
INSURANCE: Acting only as agents for suppliers, Good Shepherd Tours is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of luggage and/or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident and/or illness. For your own protection, it is important that you have adequate insurance to cover these possibilities. You should carry proof of insurance in the event you need medical attention while in Israel. Additional information and application forms for all types of coverage may be found on www.goodshepherdtour.com. Various policies are available to the consumer. It is the responsibility of the traveler to choose to be insured or not. Good Shepherd Tours is not responsible if you cancel your trip and choose not to use the insurance purchased. No refund will come from Good Shepherd Tours concerning any insurance that was purchased anywhere.
PASSPORT: A valid physical passport is required and must be obtained, in person, by each tour member. No visas are required to visit Israel for US citizens. Passport photo cards are not acceptable travel documents to Israel. ALL TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION VISAS PASSPORTS IS THE PASSENGER'S RESPONSIBILITY . IT IS THE PASSENGER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE AND PROVIDE PROPER IDENTIFICATION, DOCUMENTATION (INCLUDING PASSPORT AND VISAS IF REQUIRED), AND INOCULATIONS FOR THE DESTINATIONS TO WHICH HE/SHE IS TRAVELING. THE TRAVELER SHOULD VERIFY REQUIREMENTS WELL IN ADVANCE OF TRAVEL TO INSURE COMPLIANCE. PASSENGERS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE DENIED BOARDING BY CRUISE LINES AND AIRLINES. GST IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF TRAVEL OR FOR PROVIDING DOCUMENTATION AND INOCULATION INFORMATION. Passports cannot expire with 6 months of your departure date to Israel.
REGISTRATION & DEPOSIT: A deposit of US$ 350.00 per person is required at the time of registration. The deposit may be made electronically through our website using PayPal or a credit card, a wire bank transfer or an electronic check. It is recommended that you place a deposit as soon as you sign up for the tour. This deposit will go directly to the airline, in order to secure your seat. In order for Good Shepherd Tours to provide you with the best and lowest priced air fare, you will need to pay the remaining balance of your airline ticket within 45 days after registering for a tour. If it is not paid within the recommended time, the low fare seats will not be available and your ticket could cost you up to an additional US$ 400.00, for late reservation.
PAYMENTS: After paying the second installment, passengers will
receive an invoice with the final payment amount and date that the payment
is due. Final payment can be made electronically through our website
using PayPal or a credit card, as well as by cash or check payable to Good
Shepherd Tours.
Note: All reservations not fully paid by the invoiced deadline are
subject to cancellation, for which Good Shepherd Tours is not to be held
responsible.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
All cancellation requests must be addressed
to Good Shepherd Tours via our website.
Phone calls for cancellations will not be an accepted form of canceling.
If a passenger cancels his/her tour participation for any reason, there will be a cancellation
fee of two hundred dollars ($200US) to cover administration and communication costs. In addition
to the $200 US cancellation fee, there will also be a $100US air fare cancelation fee, for a total fee of US$300.
If received 7431 days prior to departure, 25% of tour cost will be billed.
If received 3015 days prior to departure, 50% of tour cost will be billed.
NO REFUND for cancellations within fourteen (14) days of departure will be given.
Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is available and is highly recommended.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY: Good Shepherd Tours agrees to arrange the tour that is outlined in this brochure. This represents the entire agreement between the passenger and his agent, the tour host, Good Shepherd Tours and its agents. Except as stated herein, no person is authorized to cancel, modify, or vary the tour arrangements or to make any representation of warranty concerning the tour. Except for the willful negligence of its direct employees, Good Shepherd Tours assumes no liability or responsibility for any injuries, damages occasioned by circumstances beyond the control of Good Shepherd Tours, or by any person for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to default or omission of and by any third party providing services or facilities related to or included in this tour or any part thereof, or in arranging for the same, or the acts or omissions of the tour host. Due to circumstances beyond Good Shepherd Tours control, the sequence of touring sites may occasionally need to be altered. The airlines or cruise lines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board planes, ships or conveyances. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines and cruise lines, and the passenger or purchaser of this tour and/or passage and Good Shepherd Tours assume no liability or responsibility in connection therewith. Also, Good Shepherd Tours WILL NOT BE responsible for: (a) flight schedule changes, mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather, acts of God, acts of war or aggression, whether declared or undeclared, hijackings, or other circumstances beyond its control, including any connecting flights that may be missed as a result thereof (participants should consider the possibility of delays when arranging connecting flights); (b) the failure to follow instructions, including but not limited to checkin and checkout times and baggage handling, and; (c) charges incurred relating to single room/stateroom requirements either by the passengers themselves or their assigned roommates. Payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions listed in brochure.
